Won’t answer the phone
I have spent 2 hours of my life on hold on Friday no one pickup to change service locations Now I am on the phone again 25 minutes again on Monday still no one answering. You do not care about your customers this is horrible service. Why are you so *** to your customers!!!

I would like to know if you sent quest utilities to my property and why did you send them they mark the street I didnt know we were doing business with them my question is whats going on.?
User's recommendation: If you’re going to send somebody out a letter should come before they actually come to your door don’t you think.

Terrible customer service and horrible customer website/portal
Almost impossible to reach a representative live. The customer website rarely works. Poor customer experience overall.

Markouts
Had south jersey gas employee arrive at my property . I had mark out for a fence that was being installed. South jersey gas employee told me he had to check the marks because our markout company is incompetent. This made me feel real safe.

Had sjgas employee come to my property to check on a markout in which a sub contractor had called for. This sjgas worker smelled of Marijuana and would not tell me why he was there marking out my property even though it was already marked out ...

I contacted South Jersey Gas Company and I was informed that the customer service representatives were assisting other customers. I left a return phone number and I was informed that I would contacted between a 2 hour window.
I finally received a call four hours afterwards and then I listened to a recorded message for another half hour.
I only have one suggestion for SJ Gas. Please hire more customer representatives to assist your customers.
